Description
Treixadura: a Portuguese late ripening variety also seen in Galicia. Grown mainly in valleys & slopes, it needs warm soils. Some see it as the jewel of the Ribeiro.
Elegant and complex aroma that grows in the glass, developing notes of stone fruit, plum, nectarine, citrus skin and sweet spices.
On the palate, broad, balanced, fruit profile, moderate acidity, persistent with very good body and a silky touch.
This blend of Treixadura from the 4 valleys expresses better than any other the virtues of the variety and the territory.
This wine works with every type of fish and shellfish and it even shows good pairing with white meats.
Service temperature – 8-10ºC
“90/100…nose of lemon-lime sorbet & chopped parsley & basil. It opens with basil & mint leaf notes followed by refreshing pineapple, Bartlett pear & orange blossom flavors.” (Wine Enthusiast)
