Domaine Fouassier Sancerre Clos Paradis 2021

Established for several generations on the peak of Sancerre, the Fouassier family is one of the oldest wine grower families in the area, and one of the relatively few still producing after the phylloxera crisis in the Sancerre village. Clos Paradis was planted in 1902, and the vines are still tended without the use of chemical fertilizers.

Nose of pear, honey, acacia flower, wet stone and a little touch of grapefruit.
This has a beautiful purity of fruit, a persistant finish and excellent balance.
