The exceptional terroir of Chapel Peak, vineyard located on one of the hills in the heart of the Marlborough region. The Sauvignon comes from vines planted on Greywacke (New Zealand’s most abundant bedrock found throughout Marlborough’s rivers and alluvial vineyard soils).

Generously expressive, it unveils grapefruit & passion fruit aromas, ripe pineapple, underlined by a grapefruit rind. Fantastic balance; full of finesse. A subtle minerality adds a European dimension (which isn`t surprising due to its French lineage).

The nose presents a chalky minerality with an intense fruitiness evoking white
peach, tangerine and orange flower. The palate is generous and opulent, with a
silky texture, finishing with a delicate floral and citrus freshness. “Chapel Peak”
sets itself by its balance and its character full of finesse. Its ageing ability is easily perceptible and lets predict a great evolution for the 3-5 years to come.

Pairing suggestions: duck with an orange sauce, lobster and other poultry.
