15 year old vines. 500 plus metres above sea level. 12 months ageing before bottling.
Aglianico is is known for producing wines with great structure, complex aromatic profile etc. Notes of ripe cherries/plums, spices, tobacco, chocolate & undergrowth. Full body, dense texture but a lively acidity adds freshness & overall balance.
Ideal with red meat & hard cheeses.
