Description
The name Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh comes from the old Gascon patois, or dialect, in which the “pachets” were the type of stakes to which the vines were attached, “renc” meant “rows” and “vic-bilh” the old country.
A subtle nose of candied lemon peel to which is added just a hint of white flowers and dried fruit. A sweetness is cut through with a refreshing acidity; the finish is long, and elegant. A delight!
A wine which goes equally well with traditional gastronomy (foie gras etc.) as with ewes milk cheese or light desserts.
